Worrying isn’t going to help (not to mention it’s bad for your immune system). Here are some ideas to keep you happier and healthier.

  1. Design your perfect morning routine — then make it happen.
  2. Keep a journal (best kept to 3–5 sentences daily as a record)
  3. Hydrate.
  4. Take an edible.
  5. Make time for play.
  6. Plant a garden.
  7. Connect with your neighbors via NextDoor. Make sure the old people down the street have what they need. (By note/phone, as needed.)
  8. Take a bath.
  9. Sign up for Instacart.
  10. Exercise. (I really love the Peleton app.)
  11. Discover the wonders of Prime Reading.
  12. Have afternoon tea.
  13. Take care of that project in the garage you’ve been meaning to get around to.
  14. Write a thank you note — send it via Paperless Post.
  15. Take your vitamins.
  16. Color in one of those fancy coloring books.
  17. Think about the things you really want to do some day. What’s the smallest step you could take today on it?
