Worrying isn’t going to help (not to mention it’s bad for your immune system). Here are some ideas to keep you happier and healthier.
- Design your perfect morning routine — then make it happen.
- Keep a journal (best kept to 3–5 sentences daily as a record)
- Hydrate.
- Take an edible.
- Make time for play.
- Plant a garden.
- Connect with your neighbors via NextDoor. Make sure the old people down the street have what they need. (By note/phone, as needed.)
- Take a bath.
- Sign up for Instacart.
- Exercise. (I really love the Peleton app.)
- Discover the wonders of Prime Reading.
- Have afternoon tea.
- Take care of that project in the garage you’ve been meaning to get around to.
- Write a thank you note — send it via Paperless Post.
- Take your vitamins.
- Color in one of those fancy coloring books.
- Think about the things you really want to do some day. What’s the smallest step you could take today on it?
